Too often this feels like a home movie, or cosy clips montage, for family members only. Go to Full Review

There is a kind of lonely heroism here, and who can tell if, in this digitised world where recordings are so easily available, that his views might not come into fashion? A strong, unassuming picture. Go to Full Review

Though visually sumptuous and decently acted, The Yellow Tie doesn’t attain transcendence. Go to Full Review

A sincere, sometimes uneven attempt to bridge gaps—between father and son, between past and present, between art as lived experience and art as something shaped for an audience. Go to Full Review

See more Filib M @Mehmood 17 hrs ago As a student, I really loved watching The Yellow Tie at a cinema in London. I left feeling really inspired! I think it’s so easy, especially when you’re young and trying to figure things out, to feel like you have to compromise certain things to get where you want to be. This film reminded me that you can strive for greatness without losing sight of who you are and what you believe in. Also, the cinematography was absolutely incredible. Such a beautiful film, and one I’ll definitely be going back to watch again! See more Franklin D @frankydaman 17 hrs ago Honestly, at first, the different timelines and shifting ideas had me a little confused. But then, in the second half, everything starts to fall into place. it's like putting together a puzzle, where the bigger picture only becomes clear once all the pieces come together. And when they do, it just makes sense. Such a clever way of telling a story! Probably my favourite movie of the year. See more Marcus B @MarcusB 1 day ago Ok time to lock in. This movie is a testament to hard work and the definition of self made. Loved it and haven't been this amped up since I saw Rocky. See more Veronica P @veroniiiiii 1 day ago EPIC the love story between ioana and sergiu is just so cute, i was rooting for them the whole time. they are adorable. and sergiu celibidache himself? haha, what a character!! honestly, such a beautiful film. i laughed and i cried. an evening well spent. See more Eric M @EricMuir 1 day ago UGGGHH I CRIED UGLY TEARS What a story about the universal need to be accepted, to be understood, and to feel like we belong. Bring your tissues as this film hit me somewhere deep. The second half is where everything truly comes together, as the scenes unfold and the bigger picture reveals itself. It’s beautifully constructed, emotionally powerful, and visually stunning. The cinematography is simply epic. See more Read all reviews
