Marco L @decatur555 8h To Steal from a Thief is a tense and entertaining Spanish robbery thriller in which nobody can be trusted. Luis Tosar leads a group of criminals whose apparently simple bank heist collapses when heavy rain blocks their escape and hidden political interests begin to emerge. Rodrigo de la Serna is especially effective as the most unpredictable and dangerous member of the gang, while Patricia Vico looks stunning and brings intelligence and control to the role of the bank director, who knows far more than she initially reveals. Daniel Calparsoro maintains a strong pace, mixing suspense, corruption, betrayal and touches of humor.
