The film seems more focused on style than substance, with overused slow-motion scenes, clunky dialogue, and characters that feel like cardboard cutouts of better crime dramas. The pacing is all over the place—some scenes drag on forever while others feel rushed and underdeveloped. The emotional moments don’t land, largely because the script doesn’t give the audience any real reason to care about the characters. Even the soundtrack, which had potential, is shoehorned into scenes without much thought or flow. In short, Trap City wants to be the next big urban crime saga but ends up feeling like a student film with a decent budget and no direction. Skip it. Worse film ever 💩💩🚽🚽 See more UB M @RT88653030 Jul 8, 2025 It had too much going on, some of the characters had no real purpose in the grand scheme of things. The main character was stubborn towards those tryna help him so I thought that was annoying!! Sucked!! Honestly See more Mickey W @RT78219465 Jul 2, 2025 Feels low budget. Very predictable.
