On the surface, Worldbreaker is a mediocre creature feature, but just beneath that surface is a vibrant metaphor, waiting for adults to pick it up and point it out. Go to Full Review

Worldbreaker feels like half of a movie, or an extended short film that serves more as a teaser for this universe and its characters without much depth. Go to Full Review

The action is relegated largely to bookend sequences, perhaps due to budget constraints, turning the film into a coming-of-age empowerment story that struggles to forge new territory or generate consistent suspense. Go to Full Review

Director Brad Anderson is less interested in overstating the creature feature tropes of his premise and more at ease with the family dynamic. Go to Full Review

Mr Hollywood Feb 9 Ridiculous. Most of the movie we are on an island with the two characters. Once it starts to be exciting it’s over. Ridiculous See more Rob Feb 4 Good sci fi fantasy film. Irish film. Cool monsters but they aren’t shown that much. More drama than action. See more Judd H 1d One of the most emasculating movies I have ever seen. Zero respect for men absolute pointless story. Zero character development if you wanna watch a movie where women just dog out men for no apparent reason this is a movie for you. I’m struggling to think of a worst movie that I’ve ever seen in my entire 47 years of life. This movie is rated R there’s no sex. There’s no significant amount of blood. The violence is minimal. The only reason I bought the movie was because it was rated R. I thought it would be exciting visuals and I was wrong. There was zero point to this movie. The director had zero vision, and the writer had zero imagination.. the main characters are supposedly starving on the island, but the teenage daughter is chubby to say the least while they’re supposedly starving on an island.. I turned the movie off twice. The only reason I finished it was because I had already paid for it. to make a movie now all you have to do is emasculate men, and somebody will fund it. See more chris z @HeyDukeZ 5d Just a ok movie. I kept waiting for it to pull through till the end. Willa was hard to watch in the end. Her acting was fine but honestly the director had her acting like a 10 year old with no exposure to survivalism. It was so disappointing. This was almost a great movie. Almost. See more Thomas A @Txa66 Feb 14 Well, if you discount that the world's super powers with all their tanks , drones, jets and megaton bombs were unable to defeat flesh and blood jurassic age monsters then you can maybe enjoy this as a human interest movie. See more Steven H @Sliveryne Feb 13 I don't get the critics, Yes there isn't much action. So what. Doesn't make it bad. Acting is good story, is good, ending is exciting. See more Read all reviews
